Since it's foundation in 1973 Rockhouse Records
(CDEXPRESS.COM)
has experienced a constant growth in servicing the music-collectors all
over the world.
Originally started as a specialized music-store
in Amsterdam offering the biggest collection of Fifties and Sixties material
in combination with the neo-rock&roll bands such as Flamin' Groovies,
Crazy Cavan, Matchbox, Blue Cats, etc..
At the same time the Rockhouse Label started,
growing out to be the 'oldest' and biggest neo-catalogues available nowadays.
The second label KIX-4-U was created for having
an outlet for psycho-music and more modern forms of R&R.
To service the musicfans the Rockhouse mail-order
was established about twentyseven years back- the Rockhouse News Flash,
our release-magazine is mailed out regularly.
To create a new young market for our musical productions the publishing department was started in combination with concert-bookings, festival organisation, such as the Rockhouse International Rock&Roll Meeting Holland.
Our specialisation used to be mainly Rock'n roll, Rockabilly, Punk, etc., but after some years more and more types of music were asked for, wich caused the natural development to expand to the very wide range of music-styles and music-carriers that we are handling today.
